VCCC’s Community Outreach ministry looks to serve outside the church walls and take the Gospel into our local communities.

Reading in Schools

VC Elementary School (former lower elementary)

Do you have one hour a week to volunteer and make a difference in a young person’s life by helping them learn to be a better reader? This reading program for 3rd and 4th graders will start at the end of September with an organizational/training meeting at the school, and then begin the first week in October. High school students are welcome to apply.

Alternatives Medical Clinic

Alternatives Medical Clinic (AMC) is a non-profit, life-affirming Christian ministry providing guidance to men and women in crisis pregnancy situations. Serve the staff of AMC in Escondido by helping clean their facility once a month, which in turn helps them save valuable resources for their ministry.

Angel Tree Ministry

The Angel Tree ministry seeks to help connect children with their parents, who are in prison, through the delivery of Christmas gifts. You can get involved by delivering the gifts in the name of their prisoner-parent, and sharing the Gospel with the children.
