Serving the community.
VCCC’s Community Outreach ministry looks to serve outside the church walls and take the Gospel into our local communities. To get involved and help out in any of these ministry opportunities, click “Volunteer to Serve.”
Alternatives Women’s Center
Alternatives Women’s Center (AWC) is a non-profit, life-affirming Christian ministry providing guidance to men and women in crisis pregnancy situations. Serve the staff of AWC in Escondido by helping clean their facility once a month, which in turn helps them save valuable resources for their ministry.
Angel Tree Ministry
The Angel Tree ministry seeks to help connect children with their parents, who are in prison, through the delivery of Christmas gifts. You can get involved by delivering the gifts in the name of their prisoner-parent, and sharing the Gospel with the children.
Weekly Food Outreach
Each Tuesday morning, workers gather at the corner of Cole Grade and Valley Center roads with the hope of finding a job for the day. Show the love of Christ to these workers one morning a month by providing coffee, juice and a pre-made sack lunch, as well as prayer and encouragement.
The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army seeks ways to make a difference in local communities. You can help by being involved with their Thanksgiving dinner, ringing the bell for the Christmas Red Kettle Campaign, or giving out toys at the annual Christmas Toy Drive.
National Day of Prayer
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May. Each year, VCCC hosts the local National Day of Prayer for Valley Center and you can be involved by volunteering in various ways.
